Salesforce Enterprise Technical Architect

• Hands-on Technical architect with ability to provide design, present ideation, as well as build POC independently for various solutions related for financial service industry (retail, wealth management and insurance)

• Provide Salesforce and financial services industry expertise to customers to define appropriate solution in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)

• Establishing best practices for implementing Salesforce components/modules, enforce governance and mentor developers to follow established best practices

• Understand and transform business requirements into scalable/manageable technical architecture and design specifications.

• Create and own architectural artifacts such as

o Functional / reference architecture

o Technical architecture

o Data flow diagram

o Integration strategy

o Best practices and other artifacts

• Present recommendations to senior management and demonstrated confidence in presenting solution options and recommendations

• Review various solution options, defined pros/cons and made a recommendation based on client’s specific needs leveraging financial services industry expertise and knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud

• Conduct discovery sessions with client stakeholders and document outcomes, design appropriate solution and architecture based on information gathered.

• Be in consultative and advisory role to effectively guide and advise clients on overall technical solutions and architecture

• Review and evaluate potential Salesforce capabilities or tools for client specific needs or for additional competencies

• Contribute towards growth of the practice by building additional competencies or accelerators

• Partner with other functions across IT (Leads, Scrum Master, BA, EA, Security, Operations) to ensure collaboration, consistency, quality, and timeliness of solutions

• Participate in the delivery of custom solutions that follow scaled Agile (SAFe) framework methodology

• Ensure self and development team adheres to known design and development patterns and standards of Salesforce

• Work closely with other architects to ensure consistency and quality of solutions and knowledge sharing. Continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances

Technical knowledge/skills

• Deep understanding of financial services industry, especially retail banking, wealth management and insurance along with expert understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) is required

• Expert knowledge in Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud/Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Force.com platform

• Deep understanding of AppExchange products/packages

• Experience integrating Salesforce with 3rd party solutions, including AppExchange apps and external APIs

• Must have strong technology passion and willingness to learn new salesforce features (Agentforce etc.) and come up with technology thought leadership in this space.

• Execute solution design activities such as application architecture, API interactions, Lightning Web framework, application security, data modeling/mapping, integration approach and data flows

• Strong experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex and custom development

• Proficient knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.

• Expert Knowledge of data architecture, identity and access management, platform security controls, and enterprise integration patterns

• Working knowledge of DevOps toolset (Copado, Gearset, DX) and Test-driven development (TDD) and behavior driven development (BDD) practices

• Contribute to the strategic vision, technical approach, and roadmap for Salesforce within Financial Services industry

• Advanced knowledge of industry best practices in the various aspects of IT, technology trends, enterprise operations knowledge and the ability to develop solutions to implement key business strategies.

• Advanced knowledge of SDLC, code management concepts and platforms.

• Intermediate understanding of network and data center architecture, as well as application development methodologies.

General knowledge/skills

• Very detailed oriented, organized and demonstrated ability to product various artifacts using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and similar tools

• This person need to have grown through the ranks and have prior hands-on experience as a developer on Salesforce platform

Education, Experience and Certifications

• 5+ years being in an architect role with demonstrated ability to develop solutions and advising clients in financial services industry using Salesforce Financial Services Cloud

• 7+ years implementation experience with demonstrated development expertise in several business and technical verticals.

• 10+ years of industry experience providing technical solutions development for enterprise software.

• Multiple Salesforce Certifications are a must.

o Salesforce system Architect or Salesforce Application Architect

o Relevant certifications and accreditations related to Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $190000.00

We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.

Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs like annual bonuses, profit sharing, etc.
