TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION RESEA Coordinator (Hybrid) in Austin, Texas

RESEA Coordinator (Hybrid)-Pan Handle Region

This position is located in the Pan Handle region and requires travel and reporting to at least one workforce solutions office every two weeks in the following Local Workforce Development Areas: Pan Handle and South Plains. Preferred qualifications would be to live in or around the Pan Handle region.

You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas.

WHO YOU ARE: A collaborative engaged professional that will partner with the TWC workforce team and service providers to uplift Texans. You are a senior technical analyst with research skills and a good understanding of broader program objectives who seeks to become a RESEA program subject matter leader. You have great communication and organization skills and are willing to work remotely from home 70% and travel 30% of the time, including 5% overnight.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: The RESEA Coordinator (Program Specialist IV) performs advanced (senior level) administrative and consultative program operational analysis, program implementation reviews, compliance touch points with customers, prepares and presents findings and recommends corrective actions and/or program modification.

YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO: -Coordinate and collaborates with RESEA Manager, WDD program staff, and local Board staff and service providers in program implementation, performance, and documentation of the RESEA program. -Serve as the local RESEA resource to Board staff and service providers on service delivery, outreach, and training. -Become a subject matter expert on local labor market, job readiness training, reemployment services and community support resources. -Review assigned Board areas program statistics and trends, documents operational concerns and recommends solutions. -Conduct touchpoints with RESEA customers utilizing professional etiquette and demeanor to validate compliance with individual reemployment plans and other RESEA requirements, review and analyze case notes and makes comments and recommendations in case notes. -Conduct research, program assessment, preliminary investigations and prepares reports on compliance with RESEA program requirements, laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. -Make recommendations and RESEA customer referrals to UI and/or Local Workforce Development Boards for additional counsel. -Support and presents at RESEA conferences and conducts classroom training and webinars. -May assist in developing program policies, procedures, standards, and manuals in accordance with RESEA program objectives and goals to assist assigned Board area. -Perform other duties as assigned.

YOU QUALIFY WITH: -Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university plus one year and six months of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency. -One year of full-time experience may be substituted for each year (30 semester hours) of education. -Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
