We are looking for a skilled Regional Controller to manage accounting and financial operations across multiple locations. This role requires overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while coordinating with various teams to ensure accurate financial management. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Controller, with a strong background in multi-entity accounting. Experience with private equity and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial operations and reporting for multiple locations within the region.

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.

  • Coordinate with location-specific accounting teams to ensure consistency and adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes for the region.

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate financial management.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

  • Assist with financial audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Coordinate with private equity stakeholders to provide necessary financial information and support.

  • Oversee work-in-progress (WIP) accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

  • Support the implementation and management of accounting software and systems across locations.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Controller, with a proven track record in managing multiple entities.

  • Experience with private equity and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting is desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.

  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, with effective communication skills.

  • Ability to travel between locations as needed.
