One Gas Rates Coordinator in Austin, Texas

Position Description:

Maintains annual timeline of regulatory filings, compliance filings, projects and initiatives.

Creates and maintains master calendar of deadlines and due date for 20+ regulatory and compliance filings per year.

Assists case managers with case organization and administration, record keeping and document management.

Maintains WDesk as the system administrator for rate case filings and discovery.

Compiles information for governmental and/or regulatory agencies, management, project teams, customers, and others relative to regulatory reporting, accounting processes, and various financial reports.

Assists with final preparation for rate filings (proofing, printing, binding, etc), and discovery process.

Provides basic support in accounting and finance related responsibilities including reporting and billing

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Associate's Degree In business administration or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience with the following job-related experience:

  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting methods and practices.

  • Demonstrated ability with the application of math, advanced algebra, and statistics.

  • Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.

  • Demonstrated ability and proficiency with technology; super-user experience on any technology platform would be beneficial

  • Experience reading and interpreting internal and external correspondence, governmental regulations, reports, contracts, manuals, and computer printouts.

  • Experience interacting and communicating effectively.

  • Experience developing and presenting information to management, individuals, and groups.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Mobility to travel in and around office facilities company wide; requires airline travel out of state.

Able to operate office tools and equipment applicable to job.

Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions; provide support at rate proceedings; and conduct oral presentations.

Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
