We want you to join our team!The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks highly qualified candidates to fill the Program Specialist VI position within Access and Eligibility Services (AES), Eligibility Operations Vendor (EOV). Serves as project manager, business lead, and primary point of contact for Eligibility Support Services projects. The PS VI will also serve as a project manager, project lead, and/or project participant as well as oversee project management activities related to the ESS project. Performs oversight of vendor activities and responsible for overseeing and monitoring the progress of project development and implementation for internal and external business activities which lead to automation and operational scope changes to provide quality eligibility services. Works directly with the ESS vendor to monitor compliance of contractual obligations to ensure key performance requirements are met. Performs highly advanced (senior-level) managerial consultative services and technical assistance work overseeing the operations and activities of the Eligibility Support Services project. Work involves establishing goals and objectives, planning, developing initiatives, and coordinating services to executive and management staff; developing guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations; developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving program performance measures; coordinating and evaluating program initiatives, trials, activities, and providing consultative services.
