Applied Materials Product Manager V - (M5) in Austin, Texas

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manages people managers and professional staff (on B job bands) that identifies gaps to plans across the field, drives field/technical and customer engagement from a BU perspective and conducts calls with field Technical Directors. Develops and articulates strategies and corrective actions to meet business objectives for business unit, department or sub-function unit.

  2. Has intrinsic broad and comprehensive product knowledge of technical trends to articulate technical differentiators for department or sub-function unit. Converts technical trends into useful information for (TRM) Technical Review workshops and product positioning/ inflections mapping

  3. Develops alignment plans and tracks business focus on TAM, share, margin between BU and Field

  4. Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of global, technical and market trends and executes a systematic process for capturing competitive intelligence

  5. Applies broad and comprehensive understanding of the industry to drive penetration / adoption of diverse and complex product strategies with BU, RPM and Field. Identifies customer adoption barriers and drives a plan to overcome [e.g. customer, product, BU]

  6. Develops the mapping trends, opportunities and threats to roadmap and strategies.

  7. Extensive contact with the field is required. Requires 40-50% travel

U.S. Salary Range:

$148,000.00 - $203,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
