Intel Principal Engineer, SD and Power in Austin, Texas

Job Description

NEX is looking for a Principal Engineer, SD and Power.

Responsibilities entails, but not limited to:

  • Works on end-to-end on power rollup and driving design efficiency.

  • The candidate will do a thorough review of our current power rollup flow, determine where improvements need to be made and then drive flow fixes coordinating between external customer, internal teams, and TFM.

  • The candidate must be able to deliver accurate power rollups that satisfy the needs of the customers as well as all internal stakeholders.

  • Once a solid flow is developed and executing, the candidate must be able to ramp up junior engineer and oversee power rollups through the duration of the project. Candidate will also be responsible in post-silicon to correlate power estimation with reality and then drive further improvements for higher accuracy for future products.

  • Collaborates with silicon and platform architects in generating solutions and analysis in delivering content into platform design guide as solution collaterals to the end customer. Architects VR specifications, creates test bench, test plans, and RTL models for emulation.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

BS Degree in computer science or engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience in silicon design.

5+ years of experience in ASIC design

5+ years of experience in PPA optimization

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Chiplet Design

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
