BAE Systems Manager I, Subcontracts (Hybrid - Austin, TX or Nashua, NH) in Austin, Texas

Job Description

The Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) product line is seeking a Supply Chain Leader to manage a team of Subcontracts professionals of various levels of experience through all phases of subcontract execution and supplier performance. All facets of end-to-end sourcing fall under this role s purview with a focus on driving supplier excellence via the procurement of critical materials, equipment, supplies, software and services of a highly specialized nature.

ACES encompasses both franchise and long-established production programs alongside new keystone development opportunities that will shape the future; much of the work is of a classified nature and the ability to obtain appropriate clearances is paramount. The selected candidate will work on the world s most advanced electronics and deliver next-generation threat detection, countermeasure, and full-spectrum electronic warfare capabilities that enhance mission survivability and ultimately bring the Warfighter home safe.

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely; available locations of employment are in Austin, Texas or Nashua, New Hampshire. Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline and 8 years or more of directly related work experience preferably in a government contracting environment.

  • Experience leading Subcontracts or Procurement teams through major efforts.

  • Ability to conduct effective meetings with personnel and facilitate meetings with suppliers/subcontractors.

  • Working experience generating and executing major complex subcontracts.

  • Work developing strategies to support affordability initiatives.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).

  • Ability to lead and present dynamically.

  • Stellar time management/organization skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Knowledge of the FAR and DFARS.

  • Knowledge of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation)

  • Certified Six Sigma Green/Black Belt

  • Experience with AS9145 and the requirements for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)

  • Professional certifications (PMP, C.P.M., C.P.S.M.)

  • Experience with an Oracle ERP system.

  • Earned Value Management and Cost Analysis experience

  • Understanding/knowledge of CPSR audits and requirements.

  • Track Record developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers

  • Comprehensive understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process.

  • Master's degree in engineering or science (MS) or business (MBA)

  • Familiarity with sustainment operations.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $113080 - $192280

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
