Paradromics Inc Manager, Electrical Engineering in Austin, Texas
Coordinate, plan, and manage efforts in design, test, and assembly for active implantable medical devices. This includes participation in meetings for specific sub-projects, assigning electrical engineering resources to support these tests, and communicating those assignments and schedules across the relevant stakeholders in the organization. Contribute individually to development efforts in the design, bring-up, and detailed testing of circuits and systems. Support systems that are used to test and validate the device during its manufacturing. Supervise the electrical engineering team. Provide technical oversight and feedback as well as professional evaluation, coaching, and development of our electrical engineers and technicians. Participate in complex integration activities with other engineering teams, including software and mechanical engineers. Coordinate with quality and regulatory departments to ensure that best practices for ensuring safety, reliability, and conformance with regulatory requirements are achieved. Part-time telecommuting allowed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field and 48 months of experience.
