Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Austin, TX!!

Client : Manufacturing Industry

Role : Maintenance Technician

Duration : 6 month, contract to hire

Description

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician. This will not be a full-time maintenance role, as there are only a couple machines the Technician will be responsible for. This person will help out with production when he/she doesn't have any PMs or machine issues to resolve.

The machines are mechanical in nature. There is a bagging machine, a shrink wrap machine, a conveyor, and a robotic arm to move bags down a line. The Technician will be trained to work on all the machines they need he/she to maintain. When there is no maintenance to do, this person will help move product down the line and prepare it to be shipped.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge. Doesn't have to be in industrial maintenance. Can be experience working on cars, tractors, golf carts, former military experience, etc.
