SUMMARY

As a Lead Product Designer at SQUIRE, you will work closely with leadership to define and maintain design vision, partner with outside teams to identify feature gaps or opportunities for innovation, and ensure design consistency across our suite of barber management and booking products.You'll tackle complex workflows and establish scalable systems that meet the needs of barbers and their clients. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- - Lead the design of critical product features, from concept to deliveryBe the voice of the SQUIRE user, being thoughtful of where they are when using our products - Contribute to and guide the scalability and evolution of our internal design language system - Lead brainstorming workshops and discovery endeavors, gathering insights and inspiration from a variety of sources - Partner with Product Managers and outside teams to organize and conduct qualitative usability testing, both async and through live interviews - Work with leadership to foster a SQUIRE-wide culture of empathy and user-centric thinking - Translate abstract systems or flows into intuitive diagrams for group discussion and decision-making - Provide assets to outside teams that further marketing and customer engagement efforts - This may involve working in After Effects

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- - 8+ years experience in a product design role or similarHighly advanced use of Figma - Strong knowledge of advanced prototyping tools and usability testing techniques - Expertise in systems thinking and complex flow mapping - Experience with implementing and expanding design systems and frameworks - Technical understanding of how digital applications work, and interest in learning more - Portfolio demonstrating experience with mobile app and responsive web app design, including how a product must adapt between desktop, phone, and tablet
