International Accountant Position Summary
The International Accountant will have a strong background in accounting, with significant experience in financial reporting, operational accounting, and utilizing major ERP systems. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients with their accounting needs, providing strategic insights, and contributing to the success of our engagements.
International Accountant Essential Duties
• Support clients with financial reporting, operational accounting, and month-end closing processes.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients on accounting matters.
• Utilize major ERP systems to perform accounting tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and implement solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating professionalism and expertise.
• Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work products.
• Stay informed about accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.
• Ad hoc activities may include – Data Analysis: Pulling and editing queries for finance reporting.
International Accountant Position Requirements
• Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with financial acumen, strong business orientation, and strategic mindset.
• Experience Required:
• 7 - 10 years of experience in General or Operational accounting, including input on business recognition decisions, cost recognition, and owning a monthly financial close process
• 2-4 years of Big 4 public accounting/audit firm experience supporting mid-sized companies.
• CPA (active or inactive) is preferred.
• Experience using major ERP systems (e.g., SAP (S4 Hana), Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
• 1-2 years’ experience with data analysis particularly utilizing SQL within an accounting function.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel – utilizing pivot tables and v-lookups
• Excellent communication skills – particularly in writing and relationship building.
• Ability to meet deadlines, take initiative, and accomplish work independently with minimal supervision.
• Keen organizational skills, flexibility to change, and natural instinct for cooperative communication.
• Excellent end-to-end process orientation with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to address issues and own the outcome.
• International exposure is preferred.
Travel Requirements
As needed to meet service-level requirements and for required business meetings.

Salary range $75-85/hr W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
