Work you'll do/Responsibilities
The Healthcare Integration Developer will have experience in Intersystems Health Connect or another integration engine.

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
2 to 4 years of HL7 healthcare integration (interface) experience with any middleware including Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, IBM, eGate.
Develop complex Data Integration/ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Load) processes utilizing Intersystems Health Connect
Design and develop large scale ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Load) solutions across multiple data sources (both rational and other structured data sources like HL7)
Develop detailed analysis, design, construction and testing specifications ensuring technical compatibility and integration.
Coordinate SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) activities to meet business requirements for integrated data.
Assess requirements for completeness and accuracy and determine if requirements are actionable for ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Load) Developers. Work with requirement providers to close issues and gaps.
Coordinate all aspects of the project with other teams, such as BI (Business Intelligence) Reporting, Quality Assurance, Support, Infrastructure as well as business owners and management.
Perform impact assessment and scope the size of the effort based on the requirements.
Mentor junior team members on Health Connect and ETL(Extraction, Transformation and Load) best practices.
Resolve difficult design and build issues, troubleshoot bugs when junior developers are not able to do so.
Coordinate with deployment and support resources to ensure the solutions gets implemented smoothly into QA (Quality Assurance) and Production environments.
