Job/Position DescriptionInformation Technology BA III and#150; UAT Coordinator (100% Remote in Texas)DFPS is looking for a UAT Coordinator responsible for the User Acceptance Testing phase and owning the quality of projects but has a strong passion for testing. This role will be engaged throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, working with business stakeholders and the development team to ensure requirements and solutions maintain a usability focus and meet all of the stakeholdersand#146; needs. Proactively contributes, offers recommendations, and identifies risks and solutions associated with proposed or existing software applications strategies. Well versed in all aspects of Software Development (e.g. analysis, planning, requirements gathering, design, system testing, user acceptance, and defect lifecycle) and able to speak to needs for each. Has broad expertise in the fieldand#146;s concepts, practices, and procedures, and expertly performs a variety of complex tasks with limited supervision and considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team. Leading trainings of different testing disciplines.Adheres to all Texas Department of Family and Protective Services HR policies and performs related work as assigned. Essential Job Functionsand#149;Manages the relationship with business stakeholders, providing complex quality assurance consultation and oversight to ensure their business and usability needs are translated properly into requirements and ultimately the application.and#149;Responsible to develop the design and review of Test Cases for User Acceptance in multiple projects with feedback from the project team and stakeholdersand#149;Suggest and implement process improvements that will accomplish team, department and business goals.and#149;Manage multiple projectsand#146; scope, acceptance, and deployment with consideration towards Customer needs, Project Team needs, and deadlines.and#149;Provide mentoring or coaching to stakeholders, business analysts, engineers, software developers and QA testers.and#149; Implements and monitors department performance metricsand#149; Consult on the analysis of an application, troubleshoot system problems, and implement solutionsand#149; Coordinates with internal employees, outside vendors, and contractors to complete projects and service requests.
