Human Dynamics Trainer (Training Specialist IV)

What You Will Do: The Human Dynamics Trainer (Training Specialist IV) will be a classroom/virtual trainer and curriculum developer who performs highly complex (senior-level) duties. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. The ideal candidate shares our department mission and values (professionalism, teamwork, mastery, purpose, creativity, and flexibility) and thrives in a positive, energetic team environment. Duty requires up to 50% travel within the state of Texas and the ability to lift 25 pounds.

You Will be Trusted To: -Coordinate, research, design, and develop formal complex curricula that require extensive collaboration with high-level administrators and program specialists using approved guidelines and processes. -Manage multiple projects using project-management methodology and tools. -Coordinate and facilitate meetings with high-level administrators on a frequent basis. -Coordinate, prepare, and present classes, train-the-trainer workshops, project meetings, demonstrations, and conferences in most effective manner for employees, service providers, and board staff. -Accurately and grammatically prepare documents, including correspondence, proposals, briefings, reports, training materials, and project timelines. -Supervise or serve as mentor for other Training and Development staff. -Build and maintain communication and working relationships with Administrative and Program staff, community, and co-workers to accomplish the TandD goals and objectives. -Work on special projects and other assignments as assigned to meet department goals and objectives. -Perform related work as assigned and required to meet the mission and goals of the department, division, and the Texas Workforce Commission agency.

You Qualify With: -Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university withmajor course work in human resources, organizationaldevelopment, education, or a related field plus three years of experience in positions that provided knowledge of training methods, techniques, and materials as related to individual development, education, and training programs; or in positions that provided knowledge of agency operation or programs which included giving group presentations. -Experience and education may substitute for each other (one year=30 semester hours).
