Daily OperationsOversees account structure including unit codes, subunit codes, and accounts ensuring accounts are requested and inactivated in a timely manner. Monitors account balances and processes funding transfers. Support efforts to ensure sound financial planning, budgeting, and account management processes are in place for the department and in compliance with UT processes and procedures. Monitor discrepancies with account balances, review accounts for overages or deficits, insufficient funds, incorrect object codes, etc. Communicate and coordinate with units providing guidance and responding to inquiries as needed. Serve as Cost Center Manager in Workday.Budget/Financial Analysis and ReportingUnder the direction of the Finance Director, prepare models, forecasts, and financial projection reports. Contribute to the development of and support related dashboards/visualizations. Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports such as budget to actual and expense reports. Assist with the process for review of annual salary adjustments in conjunction with the human resources team. Assist with ad-hoc reporting needs for leadership involving financial and transactional matters. Develops processes to track information and ensure a high degree of data integrity.Budget PreparationManages the endowment budgeting process in conjunction with and per direction by the CBO and Finance Director. Process necessary budget update documents (BUDs).Runs various reporting documents throughout the year to ensure endowment compliance aligns with budget plan.OtherParticipate in efforts to continuously improve processes, procedures, and systems. Conduct in-depth research and analysis on financial, organizational, and budget issues and initiatives to provide senior leadership with information and recommendations, as assigned. Other duties as assigned
