Amazon ERP Test Automation Lead, Project Kuiper in Austin, Texas
Description
Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Tosca automation tools and a proven track record of implementing automated testing for ERP/ SAP applications. This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the highest quality of our SAP systems. The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential.
Key job responsibilities
Own automated testing for ERP systems at Kuiper.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficiency.
Implement and manage automation frameworks specifically for SAP and other third party applications, ensuring robust testing and quality assurance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and QA professionals, to define and refine test strategies.
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects. Provide detailed reports and insights to facilitate issue resolution.
Continuously enhance and improve test automation processes and frameworks to increase effectiveness and efficiency
Document test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results thoroughly and accurately to maintain clear and comprehensive records.
Maintain and update test management tools and version control systems to ensure smooth and efficient test operations.
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on test progress, issues, and resolutions.

A day in the life
Collaborate with functional owners, analysts, and developers to build test cases; oversee the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts using Tosca; execute and review test results to identify defects; and coordinate with the team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
Basic Qualifications
5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years on managing test suites for ERP systems
Hands-on experience with Tosca automation tools, build test scripts, end to end testing, negative testing, regression testing suite
Experience with performance testing, load testing, regression testing and incorporation of various testing in development life cycle
Demonstrated understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with test management tools and version control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in testing for SAP applications, with high level understanding of SAP modules and functionalities.
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and improve testing processes.
Ability lead with minimal guidance and provide suggestions on how things can be improved and optimized.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
