Entangled Solutions is looking for an experienced Engagement Manager to help our growing practice advance innovation in higher education! As our first innovation Engagement Manager (EM), you will combine your passion to improve education with your market research, product design, change management expertise to engage universities and college leaders in design and implementation processes that ultimately transform our Higher Ed system’s ability to support our nation’s knowledge and digital economy.
Our EMs are growing leaders in the education industry, and are responsible for the success of our client engagements. In partnership with a lead Entangled Partner you will grow a sustainable pool of client relationships with Chancellors, Provosts, and University Presidents. You will apply your consulting background along with your innovation and change management expertise to attain your Higher Ed clients’ project vision and needs. You will also lead a dynamic team of early and mid-level team members through the insight development process and production of high quality deliverables. You will seek to establish sustainable client relationships that lead to new engagements, thus driving our mission to become known for innovative and impactful thought leadership in Higher Ed. As the first EM of this practice, you will have an opportunity to move up into the Associate Partnership role within 8 to 15 months. This position is based in Austin, Texas.

As an action-oriented strategy consultancy for education, we develop solutions for partners in both the public and private sectors through system creation, strategic planning, program creation, strategic development, and partnership building.
What you’ll do:
As an EM, you will help drive the culture, growth, and strategic direction for both clients and the larger team at Entangled Solutions. In addition to supporting specific projects, the EM will continue to grow their own consulting and subject matter expertise through strategic client management and building a sales portfolio.
A typical day might include:
Directing client work, such as selling engagements and client relationship management
Network building and developing thought leadership strategy both Entangled Solutions and your own consulting brand
Strategic project oversight, managing to achieve delivery excellence, including content creation and narrative
Managing and developing internal teams
You’ll be successful if you have:
8+ years experience of consulting or innovation leadership experience in both higher education and education or learning technology settings, with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple large projects, budgets, and teams
Prior experience in developing sustainable client relationships and credibly driving sales engagements to high-profile clients.
Outstanding facilitation expertise with emphasis on guiding diverse perspectives through ideation and change management process.
Innate pattern recognition across research, analyses, and perspectives to identify current and future innovation opportunities.
Experience in people management and training, including team building, coaching, and mentoring both peers and clients.
An ability and comfort with some travel (roughly 25-30%).
