Schedule, coordinate, and evaluate adult and youth informal classes, lectures, and wellness programs typical for a botanic garden. This includes finding and hiring instructors, coordinating and training volunteers and staff, creating class details and schedules, budgeting, serving as registrar, and maintaining constituent records in the Centers constituent management database, Altru.Schedule, coordinate, and develop content for educational exhibitions to engage garden guests in the Centers mission. This role will collaborate with various Center teams and outside organizations to secure content and items for exhibitions.Input class and program details into Altru. Review constituent records for accuracy and correct records according to University of Texas standards. Deduplicate constituent records on a regular basis. Update program records as needed. Troubleshoot database issues and provide recommendations for solutions and improved use of the database.Collaborate with all Center teams to host educational and engagement activities for special Center-wide days/events such as Lady Bird Day, Texas Arbor Day, Austin Museum Day, etc. This will include hosting discovery carts, organizing tabling, and/or leading learning activities.Update and create educational website postings as needed and coordinate with Communications team to promote all classes and programs regularly.Other duties as assigned.
