What are we looking for? As the Director of Product Management with Intertek Alchemy, you will lead a talented team to shape the vision, strategy, and success of our innovative SaaS products.

You will play a pivotal role in driving product strategy and execution, from concept through development to launch, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and business objectives. Your leadership will inspire cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions while fostering a customer-centric culture and driving business growth.

What you'll do:

  • Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmaps that align with business and market goals.
  • Analyze industry trends, competition, and customer feedback to propose innovative solutions and acquisition strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, fostering their professional growth and skill development.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, ensuring timely delivery and market success using agile methodologies.
  • Champion user-centered design principles to prioritize customer-focused solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to drive alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Manage departmental budgets, track variances, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Establish and enforce best practices and standards across the product team.
  • Drive strategic initiatives, including due diligence for acquisition targets and integration efforts.
  • Introduce innovative technology concepts in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Monitor product performance, develop metrics for success, and drive continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, environmental sciences, or related field.
  • 10 years of leadership experience, four of which is at the department head level; and at least 2 years product software development experience.
  • Proven experience leading, developing, and growing a team.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with SaaS products.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of inspiring teams and delivering results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align business goals with technical execution.
  • Familiarity with data privacy practices and regulations (e.g., PCI, PII, PHI, HIPAA, GDPR, ADA).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or training-focused platforms.
  • Experience working in Environmental Health Safety or Food Safety manufacturing roles.
  • Experience scaling teams through growth phases, managing budgets, and mentoring other leaders.
  • Experience bui ding a competitive analysis, creating business cases, and conducting due diligence for potential MandA targets.
  • Familiarity with SAFe methodology or another scaled agile framework.
