Drawing upon a base of established research this position will design, develop, evaluate, and implement novel approaches to parallel computing in the context of numerical scientific modeling and simulation workflows to meet the principal design objective of dramatically increasing performance of applications heavily dependent on dynamic irregular and time-varying graph data structures.Contribute to TACCs future computing plans and architecture design decisions for future scientific computing platforms, methods, and programming, identifying new requirements for future systems and emerging technologies from leading suppliers to meet the emerging needs of TACCs user and stakeholder communities.Engage scientific computing user and provider communities to evaluate evolving requirements and emerging trends in technology solutions while representing TACCs capabilities and plans to national and international stakeholders.Pursue and obtain external funding to enhance activities, expertise, and resources at TACC.
