Endowment management: Coordinate and monitor overall financial activity related to the Law School Foundation accounting, reconciliation, re-investments and reporting. Work with the Law School Foundation and various school units to ensure effective use of all endowed funds. Oversee and prepare annual endowment reports and respond to requests for information on endowments. Prepare and update endowment financial activity worksheets, maintain historical database, and report on available balances for all endowments.Financial reporting: Prepare and produce various monthly financial reports for leadership stakeholders, including annual endowments, scholarships, monthly unit budgets reporting and ad hoc requests from leadership, divisions, or individuals. Develop and prepare reporting using existing tools (DEFINE, Cognos, VIP, MS Excel, PowerBI, Workday, etc.), acquiring new tool skills as appropriate. Serve as resource and business process expert to multiple college stakeholders. Carry out ad hoc reporting and analysis in support of school initiatives, including financial modeling of new business proposals as needed.Leadership: Oversee account procedures, requests, approvals, transfers, and any subsequent set-up. Assist the CBO with review of funds transfers, Electronic Office management, serve as Workday Cost Center Manager role, provide guidance to staff on business related policies and systems, and act as back-up in all financial areas in Chief Business Officer's stead. Collaborate with the CBO on continuous improvement of business practices and financial operations.Annual budget: Work closely with the CBO to process and approve annual budgets. Assist with the annual budget creation for the Law School. Oversee preparation of endowment portions of annual budget. Assist with fiscal year end and new fiscal year financial needs.Provide support to the CBO as directed. Assist with special projects as needed. Assist the accounting team as needed. Serve as Council of University Business Officers (CUBO) delegate. (5%)
