Project Management: Work with key stakeholders to coordinate the planning, execution, and deliverables of the work described below.Branding, Design, Writing: Work with project leads and key law school staff to generate the creative content for the work described below, in compliance with law school and university brand standards.Production: Build emails, produce letters, manage webpages, and develop content for social campaigns.Administrative: General administrative duties including working with vendors, staffing events, and other duties as assigned.Work ProductEvery year, the law school produces between 30 and 40 events throughout the country for law school alumni and their guests. The smallest of these events are for audiences of 20 people, the largest for up to 1000 people. In addition, the school runs an annual fund fundraising campaign seeking gifts to support the operations and programs of the school.The Communications Coordinator is responsible for working with key stakeholders in the communications and alumni relations offices to execute strategic communications campaigns to maximize participation, awareness, and fundraising productivity of these events and campaigns.Email is the primary form of communication for these purposes while several annual eventsthe law schools tailgate party, alumni awards dinner, luncheon for scholarship donors, and reunionalso make use extensively of postcards, letters, and formal invitations. In addition, we wish to expand the use of the schools social media channels to promote events and fundraising, including the development of social media kits the school can distribute to alumni leaders.The Communications Coordinator is responsible for producing, or managing the production of, all of the elements of the communications described above, including, but not limited to:Text for emails and letters, generated in collaboration with event leads and the schools staff writers, and conforming to law school style guides and voice and tone standards.Graphic elements of emails and letters, such as headers, footers, and key artwork, generated in collaboration with the staff designer, and conforming the law school and UT Austin design standards.Production of printed materials,working with vendors on content and scheduling.Segmented lists of contacts, generated in collaboration with alumni relations staff trained to extract mailing lists from the universitys proprietary database.Webpage design and maintenancefor the alumni section of the law school website and dedicated webpages for event production and registration.Schedulesof what messages to send, in what formats, at what times, and in what order.The Communications Coordinator uses these tools to perform their job functions:WordExcelOutlookTeams, for internal university communicationsCanva, for designAdobe Creative Suite, for designSlack, for internal group messagingAsana, for project managementEloqua, for email to external communitiesEmma, for email to internal communitiesWordPress, the law school website content management systemCvent, the universitys website client for event production and registration
