Develops program strategies and monitors all mental health education and training programs to ensure they are aligned to legislative, university, school, and department requirements. Actively manages the team and supervises referrals made by staff. Participates in supervision, feedback, and quality assurance checks. Provides mentorship, support, and consultation to referral teams as needed.Leads and provides direct supervision to the External Relations and Outreach, Referrals, and the Youth Aware Mental Health teams. Establishes performance goals and expectations. Recruits, hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates employees. Leads team meetings, training, and other activities. Supports staff development. Leads through principled and consistent communications, even when addressing difficult subjects.Implements regular evaluations and assessments of the educational and outreach programs to measure effectiveness and gather feedback from staff and participants. Uses data-driven insights to improve and refine program content and delivery methods continually. Uses clinical expertise to develop, schedule, and conduct interactive and informative workshops, seminars, and training sessions on mental health topics for internal and external audiences in a way that is appropriate to the learner. Assesses the educational needs of the target audience to ensure programs are tailored to address specific mental health challenges and issues.Represents PeriPAN, CPAN, TCHATT, YAM and other related programs in various capacities, including but not limited to, tabling, resource fairs, meetings, events, and workshops. Collaborates with the outreach and education team to establish and maintain partnerships with physicians, pediatricians, OBGYNs, mental health professionals, clinics, educational institutions, community organizations, and other stakeholders to expand the reach and impact of the mental health education programs. Develops targeted messaging content to encourage enrollment and participation in mental health education programs.Collaborates with staff and institutional supports to submit timely purchase requests and reimbursement.Other duties as assigned.
