Manage personnel tasks - Check in with lab personnel on their progress with experiments and help solve problems when needed.Interface with Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) - Update procedures and policies, add amendments, conduct lab inspections, ensure personnel training and surgical logs are up to date, and update EHS lab portal online (UT Herd).Update and maintain lab website Provide up-to-date information to the College of Educations webmaster for the labs website on an as-needed basis.Create and maintain lab schedule for experiments and tasks Create weekly schedule for researchers to perform experiments and organize logistics of transporting animals between facilities on campus.Maintain lab inventory and order supplies Keep track of lab supplies and order new supplies to ensure researchers are always equipped for their experiments. Pick up supply deliveries from the KHE admin office.Maintain online data organization website (REDCap) Input data entry from experiments into spreadsheets for research analysis.Prepare for and participate in weekly lab meetings Record meeting minutes, help draft meeting agenda, and discuss important topics and tasks with the Lab Director prior to and after the meeting.Other related duties as assigned Occasionally, the APM will be asked to perform tasks or projects not listed here.
