UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Assistant Director, Kendra Scott Women's Entrepreneurship Leadership Institute in Austin, Texas

Event Programs and Project ManagementPlans, promotes and manages all aspects of program and event efforts of KS WELI, including the Womens Summit and program series (SHEspeaks, EmpowHER Hour, etc.). Develop new KS WELI signature events (i.e., reimagined Womens Conference) and programming with clear learning objectives that support the Institutes goals. This includes setting project schedules, managing event budget, and creating event processes and procedures as well as leading event marketing campaigns, managing vendor relationships, contracts and event staff.In collaboration with KS WELI Director, identify strategic projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of KS WELI operations and align with the strategic plan for future growth. This will include all aspects of project development and implementation, including identifying project schedules, risks and deliverables, as well as KS WELI change management and adoption.Supervisory and Administration?Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate KS WELI staff and student employees.Supervise Full-Time professional KS WELI Staff Senior Administrative Associate, FoundHER Program Coordinator, and Communications Specialist.Supervise Events Team Student Employees, Partnerships Team Student Employees, and Student Board President Student Employee.Support Director with day-to-day operational needs of KS WELI, including office backup support and co-curricular initiatives including: assist with creating and preparing reports on the success of KS WELI initiatives.Serve as a KS WELI representative to the Kendra Scott Center stakeholders located in the College of Fine Arts, including creation of standard processes, center best practices, and building good relationships with the other stakeholders.Assist in management of the KS WELI budget.Lead regular development activities to promote team building and collaboration, as well as individual development.Lead regular development activities to promote team building and collaboration, as well as individual development.Stakeholder Collaboration and PartnershipsLead partnership and Development management efforts including:Assist in maintaining and facilitating KS WELIs relationship with current sponsors (Kendra Scott LLC + Dell Technologies) and future sponsors in the Business Development Council.Assist with Kendra Scott LLC requests [local media coverage (e.g., Austin American Statesman), events (e.g., The Womens Summit, Kendra Scott Book Launch), KS WELI impact stats, HR/student partnership opportunities, etc.].Meet with local entrepreneurs, Texas alumni, and companies to create opportunities to engage students in a way that aligns with the mission of KS WELI (internships, mentors, event speakers, sponsors, etc.).Represents the program at professional committees, events and organizations.Maintains frequent interaction with university departments, special groups and external agencies.Ensure a positive experience for invited guests including students, prospective donors, prospective industry partners, and others looking to become involved with the KS WELI. Create guest itineraries and host guests during their visit.MarketingEnsure integration of KS WELI brand in alignment with the UT and Kendra Scott brands.Promotes and presents the KS WELI throughout campus and participates in events, presentations, and speaker series.Directs marketing and communications efforts of the KS WELI. This includes newsletters, all social media channels, advertising, and the maintenance of the website.Leads more extensive marketing and communications projects (i.e., video productions and website design)
