Advise students individually and in groups about the development of educational plan options and the resources available. Responsible for understanding and interpreting the requirements and academic options in the specific area and in other campus departments to facilitate the students pursuit of fields of interest. Make appropriate referrals.Facilitate small community cohorts of students, and present at workshops and new student orientation.Participate in professional conferences and professional development. May assist in training students or staff who is involved in academic advising. May serve on committees.Other duties as assigned, including supporting special projects and staffing events within CNS.
