Job/Position DescriptionAdministrative Assistant III and#150; Starting Market Rate Salary $40,197.70The Administrative Assistant III provides complex technical and administrative support to the Regional Director (RD) and professional administrative staff. The Administrative Assistant compiles data and prepares statistical reports, as well as ongoing program reports, by using automated systems and spreadsheets; creates forms and other appropriate tracking systems to ensure program complies with Regulatory Services Division requirements and objectives. Work involves disseminating information, maintaining file systems, and performing internal administrative support work. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. Trains others and acts as lead. Maintains strict confidentiality of all incoming and outgoing information; and performs other duties as assigned by the RD. The state of Texas offers many benefits{target="blank"} to employees.
