RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, recommend, and lead integrated technology projects within the Transportation, Warehouse, Logistics Procurement, and Freight Payables departments.

  • Collaborate with IT on driving automation in logistics and driving costs out of the system through technology.

  • Develop training documents while also documenting processes related to technology within the logistics area.

  • Develop reporting tools to help drive efficiencies within the logistics area.

  • Some weekend and afterhours work may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of transportation, warehouse, and procurement experience using multiple technology platforms.

  • Proven record of delivering results with technology project experience.

  • Proven record of automating processes through technology in the transportation, warehouse, and procurement areas of responsibility.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel (experience navigating through and creating spreadsheets with formulas and pivot tables).

  • Solid multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills.

  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Detail focused, highly developed, and demonstrated organizational ability.

  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

  • Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa

Preferred

  • 8+ years of Transportation, Warehouse and Procurement Experience using multiple technology platforms.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
