What You Will Be Doing:

As a Product Support/Data Entry Intern, you will be working for the Sales Development Manager for RSC. You will be required to cold call on the hundreds of accounts in each territory that are unassigned and may be out of business. Your job will be to use the tools available to track down and contact the business owners to confirm contact information, customer equipment population and make the updates in the CRM. You will be working primarily on data cleanup and updating the CRM accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contact unassigned customers to update CRM profiles

  • Validate customer existence and equipment populations, add changes to CRM

  • Maintain CRM tool and utilize sales pipeline management tools

  • Partner with outside sales and service operations to understand internal capabilities and influence new opportunities with customers

  • Create and document repeatable process that can be transitioned to full time employee

  • Ride with outside sales reps periodically to support sales efforts

    Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.

  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.

    Schedule:

  • Internship will be 3-months long with the potential to transition to full-time employment.

  • Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

  • Minimum of 24-hours per week.

    Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have communication skills, cold calling, Microsoft Office fundamentals and CRM process experience. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience:

  • Specific industry experiences desired or working toward an equivalent college degree.

  • Call center or data entry experience desired

  • CRM data entry experience desired

    Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Must be able and willing to travel as needed.

  • High energy, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic required.

    Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Comfortable using the phone, CRM tool, presentation software and spreadsheets.
