What You Will Be Doing:

As the Paid Digital Media (PPC) and Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective paid media and social engagements to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive business growth. As a passionate storyteller, you will create and execute social media strategies to attract new followers and increase engagement across all social channels. Additionally, the role will focus on providing strategic guidance on Yancey’s paid media initiatives by looking for new and innovative advertising capabilities and engaging our audience to drive business growth and profitability.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

  • Social Media:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals and informed by competitor research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification

  • Create, edit and publish monthly editorial calendars unique to each social platform

  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML), most relevant to each social platform, that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action

  • Create social content and campaigns including videos

  • Moderate all user-generated content, and support the moderation of user-generated content facilitated through customer contact employees, in line with social media community guidelines and engagement policies

  • Capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices and act on the measured information

  • Digital Advertising:

  • Evaluate and recommend digital advertising tactics to support a given marketing objective or strategy

  • Execute various digital advertising tactics as directed by leadership

  • Develop, execute, and optimize cutting-edge digital campaigns from conception to launch

  • Ensure paid media projects are successfully planned and executed, contributing to the growth of the company

  • Produce relevant metrics reporting from a variety of digital tactic platforms

  • Provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders

  • Define, measure, and evaluate relevant paid media KPIs

  • Manage boosting budget across all social platforms

  • Building out media buys for various ad platforms and overseeing the day-to-day execution of paid media

  • Overseeing and managing the overall budget for paid media

    Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, news media, public relations or related field required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven work experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist

    Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (i.e. Sprout Social, Hubspot, etc.), their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios

  • Strong skills in designing and implementing directly digital paid media programs in Google Adwords, Google Display, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram Ads, and in prospecting and retargeting Desplay networks, etc

  • Experience managing digital marketing vendors

  • Experience in community management with a strong understanding of content creation, follower growth, and engagement

  • Ability to bring campaigns to life through storytelling and create an engaged community

  • Self-directed and able to work independently, with the ability to pitch ideas and strategies to the executive team

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with direct response copywriting experience

  • Videography and video editing experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.

  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusion

    Environmental Job Requirements:Environment:

  • Most of your time is spent sitting at a computer.

  • Willing to work in a climate-controlled environment with moderate noise levels and vibrations carried over from the shop.

Physical:

  • Will require appropriate Personal Protection Equipment to be worn in safety sensitive areas.

  • Occasionally lift, carry, and lower up to 15 lbs.

Travel:

  • No travel required.

    Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have proven work experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist. You should show strong skills in designing and implementing directly digital paid media programs and have the ability to bring campaigns to life through storytelling . The ability to work independently and in a team environment are essential to this position as well.
