Columbia Helicopters Inc. Associate Quality Systems Specialist in Aurora, Oregon

Description

As an Associate Quality Systems Specialist with Columbia Helicopters you will be assisting more senior level personnel with ensuring the effectiveness of the quality management system policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

  • Ensures quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of company’s quality system.

  • Assist with any of the following;

  • Ensuring AS9100/AS9110 compliance.

  • Working in Corrective Action Preventive Action System

  • Inspecting components, parts and material.

  • Operator quality disciplines and operator programs.

  • Continuous improvement processes.

  • Internal/External and aircraft audits review of applicable documentation.

  • Policy and process creation, ensuring it meets all regulatory requirements.

  • Assist with investigations utilizing proven Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and structured problem solving methodologies.

  • Conducts oneself in accordance with Company’s Core Values.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -

  • Must be a self-starter with a quality mind set towards attention to detail.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. College degree preferred.

  • Basic understanding of auditing and Quality Systems (i.e., CAPA, CASS, Audit Management).

  • Preferred – proven evidence of AS9100 and/or AS9110 audit training.

  • Preferred - Awareness of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations with focus on Parts 21, 43, 91, 135 and 145.

  • Experience with the use of precision measuring devices such as, calipers, micrometers, etc.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts, and proposals to a wide range of audiences at all levels.

  • Ability to handle multiple task simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

  • Have a valid passport preferred

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
