Resideo Product Manager - Security in Aurora, Illinois

Resideo's Products & Solutions business is currently seeking a Product Manager to support our security product portfolio. The Product Manager will be responsible for operational excellence through ongoing portfolio maintenance and support, supporting NPI introductions and beta programs, contributing to branding efforts, and providing general product management function support. This role will be key in supporting security product development strategies and driving day-to-day activities to ensure the continued success of Resideo's security products. As the role evolves, there will be opportunities to take ownership of specific product lines and to develop expertise across a diverse range of security solutions .

This position reports to the Director of Product Management for Security .

JOB DUTIES:

  • Operational Product Management Support: Provide ongoing support for product, sales, customer service, and marketing teams, acting as a subject matter expert supporting NPI and O&M activities while working with engineering, QA, sales, and operations teams.

  • Beta Program Management: Support beta programs by helping teams define objectives, coordinating with beta customers to support installation and solicit feedback, and collaborating with engineering teams to address product improvements and fixes.

  • Technical Documentation: Write, update, and maintain technical notes for internal teams and customers to support product features and functionality.

  • Branding Support: Assist in the company’s branding efforts, ensuring alignment of product and messaging with brand guidelines.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, R&D, and other teams to ensure product strategies are aligned with business goals and effectively communicated.

  • Growth Opportunity: Take advantage of learning and development opportunities, gaining exposure to a wide range of security products and expanding responsibilities to manage a full product line over time.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 5+ years of professional experience with 3+ years of product management or product support experience, preferably in the security or manufacturing industries

  • Experience with NPI (New Product Introduction) and O&M support and maintenance

  • Proven ability to support product branding efforts and beta programs

  • The typical base salary for this role, ranges from USD $104,650 to $174,800 per year but varies by specific work location. Within a range, Resideo determines base pay for an individual based on various factors, including market conditions, skills, and experience.
