I am currently hiring for a Systems Engineer in the Aurora, CO area!

Description:

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to support software systems development and maintenance. As the Systems Engineer you will provide technical direction and clarification of requirements to software development teams & test personnel. You’ll perform system engineering analyses including trade studies, algorithm development as well as requirements definition and derivation, interface definition and requirement validation and verification. You’ll also work to develop and improve an advanced satellite ground system and support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning / development.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Integrate sophisticated backend server-side Java applications in a Linux environment, leveraging Agile methodologies for state-of-the-art satellite ground systems, including space network ground segments, and global user interfaces

• Play a pivotal role in the operational success of new advanced satellites focused on intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance for diverse clients.

• Engage in the entire software lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Utilize and enhance your skills in Multi-Tiered Architectures, Amazon Web Services, Geospatial Visualization Tools, Digital Engineering, and Automation Frameworks to support advanced spacecraft missions.

• Collaborate in a modern DevSecOps environment, employing Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently.

• Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development

• Experience with one or more areas of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.
