Job Overview

This position is responsible for full performance complex systems analysis, design and applications programming for single and multiple information systems, software applications, architectures, data warehouses, databases, and data extraction and reporting. Duties include designing, planning, testing, implementing, maintenance, problem solving, documenting, and developing software code, standards, principles and practices. This position may perform lead work over lower level staff. Potential Specialty Areas: Informatica, PeopleSoft, Research DW, SharePoint Additional Position Iinformation: Expertise in PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM Modules: Proficient in the functionalities and implementations of HCM and FSCM. Proficiency in PeopleCode: Skilled in using PeopleSoft's proprietary programming language for application customization. F Familiarity with PeopleTools 8.59+: Knowledgeable in the latest PeopleTools for development, application design, and management. PeopleSoft Application Lifecycle Management: Experienced in the full lifecycle of PeopleSoft applications, from development to maintenance. Integration Skills: Capable of developing interfaces and integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM): Competent in managing application updates and patches using PUM. Database Management: Strong database skills, especially in Oracle or SQL Server, as used with PeopleSoft. Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize PeopleSoft applications for performance efficiency. PeopleSoft Security Model: Understanding of role-based security and data integrity within PeopleSoft. Reporting Tools Experience: Familiar with PeopleSoft reporting tools like PS Query. Application Designer and Drop Zones: Skilled in using Application Designer for customizations and adept at leveraging Drop Zones for extending PeopleSoft applications without impacting future updates.

Additional Information

Department Name: Business Applications Services Job Status: 40 hours weekly, eligible for benefits Shift: M nday - Friday, 8a-5p. Work hours may vary due to the needs of the department. *This is a hybrid position.

Qualifications

EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree is required. EXPERIENCE - Minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required. EQUIVALENCY - Combination of post-high school education, job related certification, and/or related experience equivalent to nine (9) years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
