Job Overview
The Senior AI & Automation Engineer is responsible for shadowing employees, analyzing manual workflows, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency through automation and AI-driven solutions. Using tools like Copilot Studio, they assess processes, recommend optimizations, and implement low-code/no-code automation solutions to reduce repetitive tasks and improve productivity. This role requires a strong understanding of business operations, process improvement methodologies, and emerging AI technologies to drive digital transformation. This position is responsible for full performance complex systems analysis, design and applications programming for single and multiple information systems, software applications, architectures, data warehouses, databases, and data extraction and reporting. Duties include designing, planning, testing, implementing, maintenance, problem solving, documenting, and developing software code, standards, principles and practices. This position may perform lead work over lower level staff. Potential Specialty Areas: Informatica, PeopleSoft, Research DW, SharePoint
Additional Information
Department: Business Applications Services Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, work hours may vary based on the needs of the department. This role does also require on-call rotation. *This is a hybrid position and does require the employee to live in the state of Colorado.
Qualifications
EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree is required. EXPERIENCE - Minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required. EQUIVALENCY - Combination of post-high school education, job related certification, and/or related experience equivalent to nine (9) years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
