ManTech Policy SME Systems Engineer in Aurora, Colorado

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Policy SME Systems Engineer with demonstrated advanced working knowledge of the United States Intelligence Community, its authorities, functions, responsibility, and mission to join our team in the Aurora, CO or Chantilly, VA areas.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • ​​Provide support regarding compliance with applicable national security laws, executive orders, polices and guidelines.

  • ​Provide policy expertise related to restricted SIGINT data handling including foreign groundstation rules.

  • ​Help define policy rules and translation of policies.

  • ​Support Analysis of Alternatives around tool selection.

  • ​Engage in up-front Systems Engineering activities.

  • ​Participate in Agile rhythms - including Agile Planning, Demonstrations.

  • ​Support acceptance of completed development and test activities.

  • ​Define data elements needed from external systems.

  • ​Develop test approaches that validate system is behaving in-line with policy expectations.​

Basic Qualifications :

  • ​​Experience with various levels of testing (requirements verification, feature testing, and/or unit testing).

  • ​Experience with interface definition and documentation.

  • ​Experience with CONOPS development.

  • ​Experience working on an Agile scrum team.

  • ​Experience with automated testing.

  • ​Experience with DevSecOps.

  • ​Experience with Cloud technologies.

  • ​Knowledge of Relevant Domain.​

  • B.S. in a technical field with 14+ years of systems engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a technical field with 7+ years of systems engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • ​​Expertise with the Compliance and Data Protection Plan (C&DPP) process and related training strongly desired.​

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • An active and current ​TS/SCI w/ poly​ is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
