The National Director of Business Development - Recovery Services, through the creation of short and long-range national sales plans and strategies, will be responsible for the management of the business development for recover services. Responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing business development strategy and leading the nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets. This position has overall responsibility to provide strategic sales and sales promotion to the SBU's and to support the overall corporate mission by working closely with the VP of Business Development, the SBU level business leadership to provide: targeted account business development and sales planning, national sales programs driving enterprise customers and the building, establishing and maintenance of major client account relationships. This position is also responsible for leading the development of processes and systems to support a strong and accountable business development function that delivers business results. This position creates a culture of action, collaboration, customer focus, sales results and CARES behavior. Develop and integrate long and short range sales plans in line with the overall strategic plan of HBFF and the appropriate market segments. Lead the sales function through creation of a compelling sales vision, formation of a decisive sales strategy, and achievement of aggressive sales goals. Provides foundational leadership for the department as well as the organization overall.

As a supervisor, this position is responsible for:

Facilitating the selection, placement and development of new and existing employees

Conducting one-on-one performance communication sessions with direct reports to measure progress on goals, development plans and provide feedback on progress on a regular basis, including formal annual performance communication

Maintaining current job descriptions for all supervised positions

Maintaining awareness of HBFF policies and procedures

Negotiate and close agreements with large customers

Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts Coordinate and collaborate with Business Development team and other members of the national sales team to execute on outbound sales/marketing plans. Support the National marketing and sales efforts to maximize exposure to HBFF's key marketing messages. Research issues and determine a comprehensive strategy to create awareness of Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation as an expert in specific topic areas including public relations. Analyze sales and marketing results against marketing program expectations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications or related field 10+ years of sales and marketing experience with proven results Familiarity with addiction/recovery principles Experience with CRM/salesforce Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong computer skills including Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint Organizational skills Ability to work virtually, independently and be self-motivated Preferred Qualifications: Sales experience in healthcare or behavioral health field
