Job Overview

The Manager of Prospect Development at Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation serves as a member of the Prospect Development business unit and provides research and pipeline development support to optimize fundraiser portfolios and fundraising activities across the Foundation. The Manager works closely with colleagues in Prospect Research and Prospect Management to provide relevant proactive and reactive research on current and prospective supporters. This role will support portfolio data management. In collaboration with the Foundation team, this individual ensures assignments, research, and key data on constituents are effectively and accurately maintained in the Foundation's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. The Manager will support the continued development of moves management and prospect tracking systems, working to adhere to prospect management guidelines and ensure related processes and procedures are upheld in support of increased revenue. This position will report to the Senior Director of Philanthropic Deve This position has no supervisor responsibilities.

Qualifications

Three to five years minimum experience in prospect research, prospect management, or experience in parallel fields of research, data analysis, or donor portfolio management. Preferred experience in and familiarity with nonprofit fundraising best practices and ethics. Project management skills are desired. Educational Requirement: BA/BS degree is required for this position. No equivalency for degree. The Manager of Prospect Development will be/or will have experience with: Knowledge of prospective donor research techniques Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising best practices and ethics Ethical professional; ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality. Skilled at working independently and be a strong contributing team player. Highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to compose and format corresp ndence and reports with excellent editing/proofreading skills. High level of computer proficiency, preferably MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook), PowerBI and Blackbaud CRM database. Excellent administrative skills and a proven ability to produce results in a deadline-oriented environment. Creativity and flexibility. Strong interpersonal skills, particularly regarding the judgment, discretion, confidentiality, patience, and understanding necessary for dealing effectively with a diverse body of professional colleagues and staff. Autonomy, reliability, accuracy, and expedience in addressing duties. Willingness to learn new software as needed.
