Job Overview

The professional Grant and Sponsored Program Financial Analyst works in one or more areas of financial, business or budget analysis.Assists hospital management in making sound business decisions through analysis of existing programs, new programs and service lines. Assists PIs with developing the administrative components and budgets for proposal and sub-awards Reviews expenditures and provides budget to actuals reporting to PIs for non-clinical trial sponsored awards Completes incoming subaward risk assessments, subrecipient monitoring, and federal subaward reporting Accepts and routes awards working with CHCO colleagues and Post-Award Accounting for efficient handoffs Tracks award deliverables and assists PIs with submission of deliverables for non-clinical trial awards

Department Name: Research Business Services Job Status: Full time, 40 hours per week Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Hybrid

Qualifications

EDUCATION -Bachelor's degree in business or related field. EXPERIENCE -Three years of experience in related field. EQUIVALENCY - In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, one year of related professional experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education. Hybrid.

1.Prepares month end analyses and tasks to support financial close and reporting 2.Assists team members with ad-hoc requests and analyses 3.Supports workforce planning, tools and systems associated with position management 4.Conducts studies to analyze financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action. 5.Provides interpretation of financial policies, governmental legislation, accounting theory, or customer financial regulations. 6.Analy es financial information to determine present and future financial performance. 7.Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly. 8.Evaluates profit plans, operating records, and financial statements. 9.Preparation of reports, and analyses in areas such as capital budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and business forecasts.
