Intel US OEM Sales Account Manager in Augusta, Maine

Job Description

By joining the OEM team (Original Equipment Manufacturer) as a Sales Account Manager you would partner with Sales Applications Engineer to align new Intel technologies and product roadmaps to the customer's technology, product, and business strategies.

You would also be responsible for:

  • Uncover and nurture emerging revenue opportunities including software, services and foundry.

  • Close new design win opportunities that result in billed revenue, sales in and / or sales through, resulting in a global product portfolio available for customers to select for their regional markets.

  • Sell full portfolio like Cloud Computing Group, Data Center and AI, Network and Edge Group, and plants the seeds for emerging businesses like Infrastructure Foundation Services, Software as a Service.

  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners such as distributors, OEMs, and ISVs (independent software vendors) in support of assigned accounts.

  • Influence and enable sales through revenue, while maximizing the business with assigned accounts over the short and long-term.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify growth opportunities through account planning and delivery execution.

  • Gather customer feedback of assigned accounts to understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction.

  • Determine the root cause for issues/risks and establishes recovery action plans as needed to improve customers' overall experience.

A successful candidate will be:

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned annual billings and design win quotas in conjunction with the Sales Applications Engineer.

  • Communicating strategies to appropriate field and factory personnel to obtain required support and coordination.

  • Developing a clear understanding of Intel's business practices including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions, distribution and code of ethics.

  • Executing new marketing initiatives to drive customer business development growth.

  • Willing to work across geographies, time zones, companies, and organizations.

Note: This is a commissioned sales position.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business or any related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical sale or a technical influencers role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical sale or a technical influencers role.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $167,770.00-$268,430.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
