Job Description:

The Role: Medication Reconciliation Pharmacy Technician

This position obtains patient medication histories and provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the pharmacy.

The Work:

Performs patient/caregiver interview for obtaining an accurate medication history and contacts outside resources to confirm. Documents medication history in system and communicates history with practitioners.

Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems. Prepares compounds within scope of practice.

Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy and other service departments.

Performs quality assurance rounds to assure regulatory compliance.

You Have:

Maine state licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or eligible for the same through reciprocation required.

Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.

Experience in healthcare or hospitality industry preferred.
