We are seeking a RN Oncology PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

Works closely with staff assessing, implementing, and evaluating care for the radiotherapy patient. This includes scheduling tests and following patient’s side effects and nutritional status. Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients. Observes patients, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient’s condition and reaction of drugs, treatments and significant incidents. Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal. Sterilizes instruments, equipment and supplies as needed.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with RN or BSN degree.

• Must hold a current GA RN license or eNLC license required.

• BLS required upon hire (AHA or red Cross) or within 30 days of hire.

• 1-2 years of previous experience preferred. Prior experience in a similar size facility with similar services provided is preferred.
