With appropriate oversight, the Psychometrist administers and scores psychological, neuropsychological, and achievement test batteries. Compiles and ensures accurate assessment of test scores and provides detailed behavioral observations to aid in the interpretation of test results and the implications thereof. Provides explanations of the assessment process to patients and/or family members and secures optimal testing conditions to ensure the most accurate test scores.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or other related health field with a clinical focus and experience in assessing pediatric populations under the supervision of a licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist. Superior critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills; strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent observational and verbal communication skills; exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to document utilizing EHR technology. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Requirements
2 years or more of experience in assessing pediatric populations under the supervision of a licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist. Spanish language proficiency. Certified Specialist in Psychometry.
