In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family, and other members of the health care team, the Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan and achieving the goals of the department. You serve as a key position of the interdependent team, and hold responsibility for achieving positive patient and departmental outcomes.
What you will do in this role: * You will perform patient care under the direction of the Director. * You will provide therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Doctors Hospital. * You will perform spirometry, EKG and phlebotomy and have knowledge of OSHA and Workers Compensation laws
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
Certification in Occupational Health preferred.
2-5 years experience required in hospital setting or in Occupational Health, Employee Health or Community Health. Prior experience in Occupational Health preferred.

Patients are cared for in two dedicated trauma bays in our Emergency Department.
