ADP is hiring an Implementation Director.

As an Implementation Director you will provide guidance, insight, and coaching to your team. Your client onboarding team will carry the ADP relationship forward after a sale and enable the first interaction between small business clients and ADP's industry-leading payroll and HR solutions. You and your team will build relationships with clients and seamlessly implement ADP's technologies to ensure your clients achieve long term success -- carrying the weight of ADP's service reputation and client satisfaction in your hands.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Onboard Clients. You'll create exceptional onboarding experiences for each product or service implementation. Through your expertise and relationship-building, you'll help clients develop the skills and confidence to use our products with ease.

  • Implement ADP Technologies. You will analyze existing systems, interface requirements, and business processes. You will incorporate new processes, tools, and approaches when recommending and implementing the ADP solution.

  • Lead the Daily Activities of Your Team. You will be a leader of leaders. You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to team members and ensure they complete work according to scheduled deadlines with attention to quality standards, priorities, and overall goals. You will oversee the use of standard process workflows by your team. You will also track various productivity and performance standards to ensure that established levels are achieved, especially during critical activity periods. You will analyze team statistics and prepare reports for your leadership.

  • Coach and Develop. You will train and mentor team members and identify development needs across the team, working with your leaders to coordinate additional training as needed. You will evaluate associates on performance and complete performance appraisals. You will work in collaboration with your team members to establish Individual Development Plans. You will develop and administer corrective action and performance improvement plans. You will have hire/fire authority in conjunction with Human Resources, and you may have oversight of Workforce Management to include scheduling and succession planning.

  • Manage escalations and resolve clients' issues. You will manage escalated client issues and provide direction to your team. You will use your strong interpersonal skills and product knowledge to communicate with customers and representatives to resolve issues. You will strive to exceed client expectations in every interaction. You hold yourself to the highest ethical standards and live ADP's core value of "Integrity is Everything."

  • Partner Internally. You will interact/collaborate with ADP associates in sales, implementation, product, technology and client service. You will exchange information with members of the client project teams, including priorities, timeliness, and escalations as they arise.

  • Multi-Task & Communicate. You will work on multiple time-sensitive follow-ups/projects at the same time. You will share essential information with clients and internal teams. You adhere to a daily schedule and organize yourself to deal with a high volume of inbound calls. Daily phone time may increase during peak seasons, like at the close of the year.

  • Change Management: You will drive new ideas, processes, influence and drive change.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience working in a client service/business consultant environment with systems experience.

  • 5 years of people leadership experience.

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:

  • Experience noted above, OR

  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

  • Implementation Experience

  • Possesses a strong knowledge of industry equivalent products, services, and tools

  • Ability to work under pressure of time constraints

  • Demonstrated ability to direct activities and influence others

  • Certifications including Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
