Position Summary:

The Group Manager, Field Asset Management will be tasked with leading the field asset management team in maximizing the efficiency of commercially deployed inventory while ensuring inventory accessibility to all customers. This position will report directly to the Director of Field Asset Management and work cross functionally with Operations, Finance, IT, Sales and Product Development.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Overseeing and supporting the team of Inventory Analysts in proactive management of existing inventory assets

  • Developing appropriate procedures to support the efficient use of company assets

  • Creating and maintaining analytics to:

  • Monitor the performance of Field Sales in the use of Consigned Sets, Item Consignments and Loaners

  • Evaluate inventory efficiency metrics for necessary improvements

  • Monitor inventory availability and implementing strategies to efficiently improve accessibility

  • Consolidate data from Inventory Analysts and other data sources to effectively forecast set manufacturing

  • Make recommendations for set configuration changes to ensure sets cover 90% of all procedure needs

  • Serving as business owner with IT on software/iPad improvements to support inventory efficiency

  • Overseeing close-outs and maintaining a relationship with external consultants

  • Working with finance on inventory reconciliation as discrepancies are encountered

  • Functioning as a conduit/expediter at times when critical Inventory is needed to support specific surgeries and Loaners not available

  • Adhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.

  • Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in inventory or product management required

  • Thorough understanding of operating requirements of spinal implant manufacturer including surgery needs, operations processing and utilization of 3rd party manufacturers

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Management or related field

  • Proficient in Business Objects or similar reporting system

  • Proven leader of people with strong self-starting skills

  • Aggressive, goal-oriented individual with strong persuasive skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Multi-tasking abilities required for successful job completion

  • Well organized, detail oriented and a team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficient in Microsoft Excel
