Kelly Services Substitute Teacher Auburndale $115-$180/day in Auburndale, Florida

Responsibilities:

Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies. This includes:

  • Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher’s existing lesson plans

  • Assigning reasonable tasks and homework

  • Motivating students to learn, and encourage classroom participation

  • Adapting to the various learning styles of students

  • For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as create, administer, and grade tests and assignments

Minimum requirements:

  • For Substitute Teachers: At least 20 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent (Higher education degree is a plus!)

  • For Substitute Paraprofessionals: At least 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent

  • For Long-term Substitute Teachers: At least 20 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent (Long-term is 11+ consecutive days on the same assignment.)

  • All candidates must be comfortable working with a computer-based scheduling and payroll system

  • Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal communication skills

Daily Substitute Teacher pay is $115/day.

Long-term Substitute Teacher Pay is $180/day (after the 11* th consecutive day on the same assignment). *
