Fireside Home Solutions Accounts Receivable Lead in Auburn, Washington
Position Type: Full-time, Hourly
Location: In Office; Auburn WA
Wage Scale : $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
Benefits : Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and 401K. Employees will also accrue 80 hours of vacation per year for the first 9 years and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
Responsibilities:
Perform reconciliation and payments.
Communicate discrepancies with management.
Identify slow paying customers and recommend next escalation steps.
Communicate with customers regarding past-due accounts.
Prepare and analyze reports and processes.
Completes a high volume of transaction entries on an ongoing basis throughout the month.
Gather and verify invoices for accounts with billing deadlines.
Maintain accounts receivable records by:
Ensure aging is up to date.
Credits and payments are applied.
Uncollectible amounts are accounted for.
Miscellaneous differences are cleared.
Enter and evaluate billing and invoicing documents for accuracy.
Adheres to strict deadlines to complete month-end tasks.
Recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipts and posting of cash.
Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management and cost accounting.
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Previous Collections or AR experience (1-3 years preferred but not required).
Understanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
Strong attention detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Regular attendance is required.
