Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees in the Residential Programs. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization\'s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.

  • Implements and adheres to all policies and procedures of Support Solutions.
  • Maintains clients records according to policy.
  • Develops individualized service plans in conjunction with the treatment team.
  • Attends and Participates in all team meetings.
  • If applicable, ensures licensed facilities complies with all regulations.
  • Completes, reviews, approves Therap Documentation accuracy daily for proper billing.
  • Communicates regularly with Service Coordinator as applicable.
  • Communicates regularly with clients supported as well as case managers/parents/legal guardians to ensure continuing satisfaction with services.
  • Provides in-program support Monday 8 am through Friday 4 pm; as well as after hours support during nights and weekends. Provides on-call support on a rotating basis from Friday 5 pm to Monday 8 am.
  • Oversight and weekly submission of petty cash.
  • Supervise staff and directs their activities with the clients.
  • Scheduling staff to meet the needs of the program and ensures that shifts are covered.
  • Provide coaching and feedback, and completes staff performance evaluations.
  • Disciplines staff members as needed.
  • Audits and approves staff hours, mileage and documentation.
  • Provides training on clients supported and program activities
  • Direct support of clients supported in the absence of a Direct Support Professional.
  • Coordinate all appointments for clients supported with providers and attend those appointments in the absence of a designee.
  • Oversight of residential home and Vehicle maintenance. Requests repairs of home and vehicle as needed.
  • Oversight of program functions, including MARS, Menus, Client Activities, Schedules and other program needs as necessary.
  • Provides at minimum, 5 days weekly of in program support/oversight in each program assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
